Bulldogs TV has spoken with Co-Captain Frank Pritchard after he had surgery on his torn Pec which he picked up in the 21-20 win over the New Zealand Warriors.

He will be a big loss Frank, but the depth of the squad at the Bulldogs will be able to fill the void left by Pritchard.

"I trust the depth we have at the club to fill the void left by Franky," said Tolman.

It's disappointing to see players suffer injuries like this, but at a time in his career, this lay off will give Pritchard a chance to focus on some things away from the footy field to prepare for life after footy.

"Injuries like this happen, but it gives me the chance to look at life after footy, although it is still far from my mind, keeping busy and planning for later in my life will make me better for it," said Pritchard.
