This week Corey Thompson will do battle with Warriors Winger Manu Vatuvei and he spoke to Bulldogs TV about the challenge ahead.

Vatuvei has been one of the most destructive wingers in the game and this week it will be a great test for the young Bulldogs winger.

He has been a strike weapon for the Warriors for the best part of five years and for Thompson it’s a challenge he is looking forward to.

“I’m looking forward to it…hopefully I can get in his face and stop his momentum,” said Thompson.

After debuting in round one of the season, Thompson will this week head into his sixth game of his NRL career and for the youngster who hails from Queensland, playing week in week out is giving him plenty of confidence.

“I’m getting a lot more confidence and just focusing on my own job each week,’ said Thompson.
