The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs NYC side looks to hit back this week when they take on the Sydney Roosters at Allianz Stadium this Friday afternoon.

Still sitting in 9th place, the Bulldogs went down 40-24 last Sunday against Melbourne. The pups were deep in the contest for the majority of the match, going into halftime down 16-12. Shortly after the break, the Dogs pulled the score back to 22-20, but repeated errors and drop balls let the blue and white side down.

The Roosters are currently in 8th position on 4 points but have been extremely inconsistent this season, going loss, win, loss, win, in their first four games. They defeated Parramatta in Round 2 (24-16) and Manly in Round 4 (46-24) but lost to Souths in Round 1 (32-34) and Brisbane in Round 3(14-44).

The last times these sides met was in Round 15, 2013. The Bulldogs triumphed in a 7-point win, getting up 23-16.
