The Parramatta Eels flag is today flying high over the Bulldogs iconic Belmore Sports Ground as a reminder of the Blue and Gold reaching the 15,000 Member mark first in the #raceto20k

Parramatta Members jumped at the chance to encroach on enemy territory and get their hands on the Bulldogs flagpole.

Eels Chief Executive Officer Scott Seward was quick to crow about the flag, which was raised after a bet between him and Bulldogs counterpart, Raelene Castle.

““This is a tremendous achievement to reach 15,000 as quickly as we have and to have our flag hanging above Belmore is a great tribute to our Members,” Seward said.

“We can’t be complacent though because Bulldogs supporters are a passionate lot who will be breathing down our neck on our way to 20k.”

Bulldogs Chief Executive Raelene Castle was quick to reply with a great new initiative to help those who have yet to prove they are #proudtobeabulldog , the Later Starter Membership.

“We congratulate the Eels on this milestone but remind them that the race has just begun.  With our blockbuster against the Bunnies on Good Friday nearing and the Bark Magazine just published, there has never been a better time to sign up and I know the Bulldogs faithful will rise to the challenge!”

“To incentivise Members even further, the Bulldogs have announced ‘Late Starter’ pricing, where Members can sign up at reduced prices for the remaining 11 games, with prices starting from less than $12 per game for Adults or $28 per game for Families .“
