It's been a big summer for the players and the pre-season has finally come to an end and Bulldogs TV caught up with Josh Jackson to speak about the final week of the pre-season and how the summer has been.

The pre-season this year has been one where the players have been pushed to their limit.

They have been tested on the field, in the gym and mentally tested to continue to deliver quality, day in day out.

For young back rower Josh Jackson, the one thing he has noticed this summer is the intensity to training.

"The intensity has really gone to a new level this year, but it's what you need and can only help us when the season starts," said Jackson.

The season starts in a weeks time and for the players, the final weekend off before the season starts will give them a chance to recover and relax for a big season ahead.

"It will be a chance to rest and get ready to focus on Brisbane in round one," said Jackson.
