The Bulldogs have today gone past the 12,000 Member mark, only days after the Belmore Trial played on Sunday against the Rabbitohs.

The temperature wasn’t the only thing soaring, with Membership signup huts on the famous hill and adjacent to the grandstand, experiencing a constant flow of fans looking to show their passion, pride and loyalty by becoming Members. The Bulldogs are calling on all fans to show their passion, pride and loyalty by helping us win the #raceto20k against the Parramatta Eels. The rivalry between the Bulldogs and Eels needs no introduction and the #raceto20k is proving to be a typically tough battle between the Clubs, with Parramatta still slightly ahead.

“We want to walk away from this challenge with a clear cut win,” said Bulldogs CEO Raelene Castle. “The great battles between the Bulldogs and the Eels, especially during the eighties, are a big part of the reason why these clubs enjoy such extensive support.

“ The major bet of the #raceto20k is that the first Club to 15,000 Members gets to fly their flag at their opponent’s headquarters. Passionate, proud and loyal Bulldogs fans will do everything possible to ensure it is the Blue and White flag flying high at Parramatta and not the reverse. It won’t be the only challenge, in the coming weeks.

“We certainly don’t want to be flying an Eels flag outside the historic Stewart Stand of Belmore Sports Ground,” said Bulldogs CEO Raelene Castle. Co-captain Frank Pritchard knows the passion, pride and loyalty of Bulldogs Members better than most.

“While injured last season, I was lucky enough to spend some time The Kennel as part of the Bulldogs Army and I must admit it was a great experience.

The passion and pride those Members have for the Bulldogs is something I believe is not matched by anyone.” Beyond being a fan, your Membership shows a loyalty that makes a huge difference. It helps us invest in equipment and facilities that allow us to perform at our best.

It helps us provide more resources to our junior programs that can help us find the new superstar players. In 2014 with more flexible packages than ever before and the ability to pay for all Memberships monthly until August 2014, we aim to break new ground and win the #raceto20k against the Eels. Members are our lifeblood, regardless of whether they cannot attend matches, attend only a few matches, or attend all our games; they underpin everything we do and are our most passionate fans! With the season less than a month away, now is the time join our team.
