The players returned to the training field today for the first time in 2014 and it began with a Yo-yo test.
After a two week break over the Christmas period, the players returned to Belmore for the first time in preparation for the upcoming season and the day started with a gruelling yo-yo test, which is designed to test the players cardio vascular fitness.
The test gives the football staff an opportunity to see where the players are at and make sure no-one enjoyed themselves to much over the two week break.
With the first trial less than five weeks away, the players will want to get as much out of the next few weeks in order to have themselves ready for the Back to Belmore trial, followed by the Auckland nines.
