Bulldogs TV caught up with Trent Hodkinson, Josh Reynolds and Dale Finucane during the week to speak about leadership.

With a number of the NRL squad away on World Cup duties, the 2014 pre-season will give a number of players an opportunity to step up and become leaders.

Josh Reynolds and Trent Hodkinson who both play crucial roles in the team are two players who are wanting to take on more of a leadership role throughout the summer and the season ahead.

Being a half in any NRL side requires leadership and taking ownership of the direction of your side on the field and this is an area both have identified that they can improve on.

While back-rower Dale Finucane who has come through the juniors and had has made the transition from NYC player to NRL player, becoming a leader over the summer and moving forward will only help the younger players who have been promoted to the squad this year and who have joined the club from opposition sides.

Dale certainly leads by his actions and having been a part of the NRL side now for a couple of year, he knows putting his hand up and leading the way will certainly help the side move forward.
