New Zealand duo Greg Eastwood and Sam Kasiano have today been picked for the Kiwis third match of the World Cup against Papua New Guinea this Friday night (UK time).
The Kiwis vs Papua New Guinea match kicks off at 8pm Friday, November 8 (UK-time), at Headingley Carnegie Stadium, Leeds. The match will be shown live on 7mate in Australia at 7am (AEDT) on Saturday morning.
Eastwood and Kasiano will start from the interchange bench and will add great value to Coach Stephen Kearneys forward rotation throughout the match.
Back rower Frank Pritchard will be rested for the match as he recovers from a cork above his knee as well as a sore ankle.
"Frank has a cork above his knee and a bit of a sore ankle, Kearney said. There was a short period of time from the plane trip on Monday to Friday's match and I thought it would be best to give him a break."
