The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are pleased to announce the signing of Damien Cook, for two years, through until at least the end of 2015.
Cook joins the Club from the St George Illawarra Dragons where he made two NRL appearances in season 2013. The 22 year-old spent the majority of the season as part of the Illawarra Cutters NSW Cup side and took out the Coaches Award at the sides presentation evening.
Cook also spent time at the Penrith Panthers, playing in the National Youth Competition in seasons 2010 and 2011.
The Helensburgh junior is excited about his move to Belmore.
Im definitely looking forward to getting started, Cook said. Ive come here with a fresh set of eyes and a fresh start so itll be great.
When asked about where he would like to fit in, Cook was quick to mention the vacant fullback spot.
Id like to think I have a bit of versatility in my game but if I was able to get a shot at fullback that would be good.
