After a successful community trip to PNG last year, the Bulldogs with the assistance from the Canterbury Leagues Club, ACPE and many other businesses headed to PNG to help out the community of Kavieng. Check out all of the highlights from day 2 here

Day two gave the group a chance to have some down time, after a long day travelling we headed to Lissenung Island
, which is a 20minute boat ride from the mainland of Kavieng.

This would be the accommodation for the staff for the remainder of the trip and what a place to spend time at, while the players would spend the rest of the week staying at Nusa Island Retreat which is a 5 minute boat ride from Kavieng.

Lissenung Island is a beautiful part of the world, with some of the most clearest water you will see and one of the most relaxing and unwinding places you will find yourself at. You would never know that this part f the world exists.

Lissenung Island is known as a dive Island, but it sure is a place to just relax and unwind and its exactly what we were all able to do.

We were able to snorkel, swim in some of the most pristine water you will see, kayak, go fishing, enjoy the sunset and simply just enjoy the life and culture of Papua New Guinea.

A couple of the boys were able to catch a few fish, while others were able to capture some amazing photos under water of the sea life and amazing reefs that surround the island.

A great day by all was had and a place you will never forget.
