Following on from Ben Barbas appearance on FOX Sports last night the Bulldogs and Ben would like to clarify his position in regards to requesting a release from the Club.
Im really close to my daughters and working hard on my relationship. Their move to Brisbane would create a difficult situation for me to be in playing football in Sydney, which I hope people can understand. Barba said. Chief Executive Raelene Castle has expressed a desire to find a workable solution.
We cant ignore there are some genuine reasons around Ben requesting a release, Castle said. We are working our way through the process to find a solution that takes into consideration needs of all the key stakeholders.
This is a complex process and there is no clear timeframe on when a resolution can be expected.
The Bulldogs will be working hard to find the best possible outcome for the Club, the Members, Sponsors and Ben Barba.
