This week the Bulldogs Holden Cup side take on the 13th placed Gold Coast Titans and after coming off a very good win last week against the Dragons, Coach Andy Patmore still knows there is plenty of improvement in his side.

We were scrappy in defence at times last weeka couple of soft breaks, but plenty of good stuff to take from the Dragons game, said Patmore.

They head into this game on the back of some good momentum and with six wins from the last six games they certainly are in a good position coming into Mondays game, but also the end of the season. Its about continuing to build on this momentum and this is something the team are fully aware of.

We have spoken about making it happenyou want this role to keep on going, but you have to make it happenthey are doing all the right things to end the season in a good way, said Patmore.

Although the Gold Coast sit in 13th position, the young Bulldogs side is well aware of what they are capable of doing. They have beaten the Warriors in New Zealand this year, which by no means is an easy place to go and play and with a couple of brilliant individuals in their side, they will certainly be a threat on Monday night. They Bulldogs must focus on their own game and not be complacent if they want to win.

They are a good sidethere are three or four players who are potential first gradersif we let them play and give them space they will hurt uswe need to be on from the get go, said Patmore.

It will be a test for the Bulldogs side, because it is very easy to become complacent against a side which sits lower on the table than you, but with a huge game the following week against the competition leaders in the Canberra Raiders, I am sure the team will want to play, especially back at home, to be in good shape for the round 23 clash.

There were plenty of standouts last week against the Dragons and the two who come to mind are David Minute and Renouf ToOmaga, who were outstanding off the bench, expect big games again from these two young men.
