The Bulldogs last night hosted their State of Origin Function at the Novotel Hotel just adjacent to ANZ Stadium prior to kick-off of the 2013 State of Origin Series.
The 400 guests were entertained throughout the three hour function by FOX Sports Presenter Lara Pitt who MCd the event whilst Daryl the Big Marn Brohman, singer and songwriter Denis Carnahan and comedian Joel Osborn kept the mood upbeat.
Another crowd pleasing moment was watching and hearing from two Bulldogs and NSW legends in Terry Lamb and Steve Mortimer. The pair spoke about the toughness required to play at that level plus some of their greatest memories they had from their playing days in the Origin arena.
It was great to see so many passionate Bulldogs sponsors and fans come together to celebrate what is always a great time of year for rugby league, CEO Todd Greenberg said.
The function had a range of great entertainment and I hope that all of our guests had an enjoyable night which was made even better by the result.
With the official function wrapping up at 7pm it was then just a short stroll across to ANZ Stadium for the clash.
