The Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs held their 2013 Junior Representative Presentation Night at Canterbury League Club on Wednesday night.

In the presence of CEO Heidi Armstrong of our major sponsor State Custodian and their manager of Corporate Development Kathleen Matinlassi plus all of the staff, players and families of our Harold Matthews Cup and SG Ball Cup sides. Also joining us were the Bulldogs representatives in the SWSAS Harold Matthews Cup side who had all gathered to celebrate another year of advancement of our development program, which continues to provide a solid nucleus of players for our NYC and NRL squads.

As was stated a number of times on the night, the measure of success of our development program, is not the winning of trophies, but the number of players who continue through the development stages, (being Under 13 through to NYC level) and graduate to our NYC and NRL squads.

It was noted that of the 13 players who started against the NZ Warriors from the previous weekend NYC match, seven were graduates from the SG Ball program and 10 out of out 29 NRL Squad have graduated from our Development Program.

The highlight of the night was the announcement of our award winners as follows;

SWSAS (Bulldogs Represenative) Outstanding Achievemnet Award Mohammad Nahlous

Bulldogs Harold Matthews Cup Player of the Year Jayden Okunbor

Bulldogs SG Ball Cup Player of the Year Hakaraia Toi Toi

An enjoyable night was had by all in attendance and all Bulldog fans can look forward to continued growth of our Junior Development System.
