The Bulldogs Junior representative sides returned back to the winners list with solid wins aginst the Western Sydney Academy of Sports (WSAS) in Round 7 of the Junior Rep competitions at Belmore Sports Ground on Saturday.


The Bulldogs Harold Matthews Cup side (Under 16) defeated WSAS defeated 30-4 in a return to the winners list after successive losses. For coach Wayne Barnett, the win lays a platform for the last two weeks of the competition with the boys well entrenched in the top eight.


Best for the Bulldogs Harold Matthews Cup side were, Alvin Maungatti, Adam Keighran and John Paul Nakad.


The Bulldogs SG Ball Cup side (Under 18) were equally impressive in a 40-12 win over their WSAS counterparts. After a tight first half, the SG Ball side played some solid football for Coach Brad Henderson in the second half to win well. As with the Harold Matts side, the SG Ball team is well positioned in the top eight.


Best for the Bulldogs SG Ball side were Vailima Teaupa, Wallace Tangitti and Brandon Luamanu


Round 7 next week sees the Bulldogs Junior Rep squads travel to Win Stadium Wollongong to take on the Illawarra Steelers. The Harold Matthews Cup kicking off @ 12:00 noon and SG Ball Cup @ 1:300pm.
