For the first time in Australian Sport NRL fans are being given the opportunity to design their own commercial.

NRL fans will have the ability to feature more of their favourite team and players in their own custom made ad, a revolutionary concept in Australian sport.

Do you want to see more of your favourite team in the NRL campaign? Click here
to make your own version and share it with your friends.

The NRL is offering you a chance to play director and cut your own version of the commercial, you will also have your own online space to post your new edited version of the ad and share it with your friends.

The ability for fans to customise their own version of the advertisement is something we are really excited about, NRL General Manager Marketing and Commercial, Mr Paul Kind said.

It is always difficult in a 60 second television spot to feature all the players and teams, so this initiative lets our fans re-cut the advertisement to get their favourite players and moments into the campaign and then share it with their friends.

We think it is going to be very popular and a great way for fans to interact with the game they love.

Im looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

There are thousands of different possibilities with fans given the opportunity to insert their preferred clips into the advertisement, you simply drag and drop the highlights you want to use into the designated areas and then within seconds, your new customised NRL ad is ready to be shown to the world. Share it via facebook, twitter and other social media platforms.

What a great way to start the season! Now bring on Thursday and the kick-off to 2013.
