Excursion Overview
Leadership and Inspiration Day: Excursion Overview
Up to 16 students, selected by the school, will take part in this exclusive leadership experience at the spiritual home of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
The day begins at Belmore Sports Ground with presentations and interactive sessions delivered by Bulldogs staff, NSW Police, the Australian Defence Force and other industry partners, each tailored to the program the school has selected (Road Safety, Physical Health, Financial Literacy etc).
Students then move to Canterbury League Club for a complimentary morning tea, followed by a gym tour and ball-skills delivered by current NSW Cup Bulldogs player, as well as a fitness session with a qualified instructor, both at C-Life Gym before lunch.
The intent is simple: to give the coursework something to hold onto.
The classroom program follows in the weeks after the visit, so when the themes come up, students have already met the people who live them; and the material arrives with a face and a story attached.
