Front-rower David Klemmer opens up about the moment when he was seen comforting Chase Stanley inside the dressing rooms at Belmore.
On Monday night Bulldogs veteran Chase Stanley will run out on to Belmore Sportsground for his 100th NRL game, a little over nine years since making his debut.
Bulldogs centre Chase Stanley will be working over time this week with the physio staff to get himself right for Thursday's clash with the Panthers.

What do you like to do away from football?
Away from football I like to watch movies and play golf.
What was your first job?
My first job was as Customer Service employee on the check out at Franklins.
What are your goals in Rugby League?
Right now my main goals are to get a really good pre-season completed and play regular first grade in 2016.
What do you love about Rugby League?
I think the thing I love most about rugby league is competing.
Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
My biggest influence would have to be my family for sure; they have been instrumental in getting me to the NRL.
What is your earliest league memory?
My earliest memory in Rugby League was playing with Josh Reynolds in under 8’s and running off the field to eat a banana at half time.
What is your best moment in league so far?
My best memory in Rugby League making my first grade debut.
Best piece of advice you have been given?
Never give up and always have fun.
What advice would you give to a young rugby league player?
Never stop learning, give it your all.
Who is the player you looked up to as a kid and why?
The player I most looked up to was Sonny Bill Williams, he was a freak of an athlete and just dominated from the moment he started playing professional football.
What are your memories of your first NRL game?
I remember running out onto Kogarah Oval and it felt so surreal, I scored a try in my first game which was a great feeling.
Favourite sportsman and why?
My favourite sportsman is Michael Jordan for sure, his legacy is unmatchable.
What can’t you live without?
I can’t live without my mobile phone, I am constantly using it.
What player do you most enjoy playing with/against?
Josh Reynolds definitely, I have known him for so long now and it’s great to be back playing with him
Again at the Bulldogs. His desire to win makes him a great player to be around.
What is the TV show you never miss?
My favourite TV show is definitely Home and Away, would miss it for anything!
What is on your bucket list?
I would love travel around the world.
If you could play another sport, what would it be?
I think if I didn’t play rugby league I would play basketball for sure.
If you weren’t playing league, what would you be doing?
If I was not playing league right now I would be a personal trainer.
How would you like to be remembered at the end of your career?
Someone who never gave up.
