Game Day Guide: Round 3 v Titans (Multicultural Round)

Round 3 of the NRL Premiership will take place this Saturday, 23 March at Belmore Sports Ground with a blockbuster double-header!

As in previous years, the Bulldogs will host a cultural extravaganza with a series of performances, activities and food stalls from across the globe set to accompany the intense afternoon of rugby league.

This year's event is supported by the NSW Government, proudly sponsored by Multicultural NSW.

Members and fans are encouraged to get in early to secure tickets. Gates will open at 12:30pm with NSW Cup to tackle the Penrith Panthers (kick-off at 12:40pm), followed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs taking on the Gold Coast Titans in the NRL at 3:00pm.

MEMBER ACCESS

All ticketed Members can scan into the game at Belmore Sports Ground using their Member Cards. 

Reserved seat Members, including Ultimate, Platinum Plus, Platinum, and Gold Members, will enter via GATE A and sit in the seat allocated to them on their Membership card.

General admission Members, including Blue Zone and Kennel Members will enter via GATE B or C.

Flexi 4 Members will be able to use their Member Cards to scan into any four home games in Sydney across the season, including this Round 3 match.

Non-ticketed Members and Members wishing to purchase additional tickets are entitled to a 20% discount using their Member password at the checkout.

QUESTIONS ON GAME DAY

If you have any enquiries on Game Day, you can get help from a Bulldogs representative at the Membership Stall on the way into the venue, located in Terry Lamb Reserve.

Alternatively, you can visit the Box Office at Gate A, which will be open from 12:15PM, for general enquiries including but not limited to ticket sales, general ticket enquiries, lost tickets, and Bulldogs Members enquiries.

 

MERCHANDISE

Shop the range of Bulldogs 2024 merchandise at the Merchandise Van located inside Gate A behind the main grandstand.

The Bulldog Belmore on Burwood Road will also be open for business from 10:00AM – 3:00PM on Game Day. These are extended trading hours to celebrate match day.

2024 Bulldogs Home & Away jerseys will be available for purchase.

TRAFFIC & TRANSPORT

With increased traffic expected as NRL fans descend on Belmore for our first home match of the season and a multicultural extravaganza, ticket holders are encouraged to plan their trip ahead of time and consider all the available travel options.

  • RAIL: The closest station to Belmore Sports Ground is Belmore, and trains run to Belmore regularly on the T2 Inner West & Leppington Line and the T3 Bankstown Line. The venue is a short walk from the station down Burwood Road and Leylands Parade.
  • BUSES: A number of regular bus services make stops within walking distance of Belmore Sports Ground, including routes 415, 487, 490 and 942.
  • DRIVING: Traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching Belmore Sports Ground including Canterbury Road, Burwood Road, Leylands Parade, Edison Street, Palmer Street and Thorncraft Parade as crowds travel to and from the game. Some local roads may close to ensure pedestrian safety during pre, during and following the event. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.
  • PARKING: Parking is limited on local streets and car parks in the area, fans are advised to arrive early and allow additional travel time.
  • ROAD CLOSURES: Edison Lane will be closed on Friday 23 February 2024 from 7:00am through to midnight. A temporary closure of the small section of Waverly Street adjacent to Belmore Sports Ground is also planned. Redman Parade will be closed for parking and pedestrian safety purposes. During the closures, traffic controllers will be in attendance to provide local resident access only.

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS

As per the Conditions of Entry, the following restricted/prohibited items are not permitted into Belmore Sports Ground:

  • Prams/strollers, scooters, roller skates, skateboards, push bikes, Segways or other unauthorised means of transportation.
  • Glass or cans including aerosol cans or metal containers of any style.
  • Alcoholic beverages.
  • Iceboxes or eskys and bags larger in dimension than 35cm in height, 20cm in width and 30cm in length (i.e. too large to be stored under a seat).
  • Chairs, stools, folding seats (disability support items permitted).
  • Tents, shelters or umbrellas.
  • Flares, fireworks, weapons, explosives, smoke bombs or other incendiary devices.
  • Laser pens / pointers.
  • Drones.
  • Knives or other dangerous weapons.
  • Cameras and Recording devices (for commercial purposes) including tripods.
  • Any flag poles over 1.5m in length or flags / banners over 1m x 1m in size. Specific conditions may apply for some events regarding the entry of flag poles, flags and banners.
  • Any flags or banners which contain text or images which are considered to be offensive, discriminatory, political or intimidating in nature. 
  • Whistles, hooters and horns or other musical instruments (e.g. drums). Specific conditions may apply for some events regarding the entry of musical instruments including drums.
  • Confetti or shredded paper.
  • Animals (with the exception of certified service animals).
  • Not to wear or otherwise display commercial, political or other offensive signage or logos.
  • Other items as determined by Stadium Management, Staff or Event Security that may cause injury, public nuisance or offence to any other patron.

If any of these are items are brought to the Stadium, they will undergo cloaking prior to entry by Event Security.
