The Bulldogs have three games left this season and an opportunity to end their campaign with three victories.
It’s been a frustrating year for all involved and while many believe motivation may be lacking for a side out of finals contention, Matt Frawley disagrees:
“I don’t think it’s motivation we are lacking. At the end of the day we are all NRL players. We have spoken as a group about how hard it is to get to this stage and play in the NRL. People dream to play on this stage and you can’t take it for granted. We need to remain focused and upbeat and look to turn things around. You still want to win games and enjoy each others company after a game. It's a feeling we haven't experienced for a couple of weeks now and we want to get that back,” said Frawley.
After making his NRL debut in Round five against the Brisbane Broncos, Frawley who now has 16 NRL games under his belt, still sees every week as a new challenge and an opportunity to improve as an NRL player.
“I know how hard I have worked to get here and I know how hard the rest of the boys have worked. For myself it’s about taking opportunities and I still see every week as an opportunity to better myself and play NRL,” added Frawley.
