Brydens Lawyers Judiciary Update.

Sea Eagles prop Martin Taupau has narrowly avoided suspension for his high shot on Wests Tigers hooker Matt McIlwrick and will be available to play against the Bulldogs this Sunday afternoon at ANZ Stadium.

Taupau was slapped with a grade one careless high tackle charge, which attracts a fine. Due to a poor recent record the Sea Eagles forward will be forced to pay $2,100 with an early guilty plea, up from the $1,500 base penalty for the charge.
