Josh Reynolds will come face to face with his great mate Trent Hodkinson as he runs out in the blue and white at Belmore on Sunday.
The friendship was forged throughout their days together at Canterbury.
Reynolds and Hodkinson spent five years together in Bulldogs colours and were on hand in the 2014 Grand Final as well as leading New South Wales to the 2014 State of Origin series victory and while it may be a strange feeling for both come Sunday, the Bulldogs number six knows it will be a special moment.
“We accomplished some really cool things together and he was great for the club and now we’re going up against each other in my last hit out at Belmore. To be playing against one of your great mates on a big occasion like Sunday, is a special moment,” said Reynolds.
If there was ever a reason to show your support for the Bulldogs and witness a game at Belmore Sports Ground, than this Sunday is the day!
The Bulldogs will host the Newcastle Knights and the theme for the day will be ‘Say thank you and good luck’ to local junior Josh Reynolds, with a run through banner, Josh Reynolds giveaways and the hill being re-named ‘Josh Reynolds Hill’ for the day.
There will be plenty of fun for the family and the kids with Fans on Field, Fireworks, rides in Terry Lamb reserve, as well as a jumping castle, obstacle course, dart ball, FREE Bulldogs fairy floss and much more in the ‘family fun zone’ located outside the ground at Gate A.
