With the success of the Indigenous Round just passed, Rusca Bros. have shown great generosity by donating $5000 to the group of girls that designed the Bulldogs jersey worn against the Cowboys.

The story behind the design of the jersey is definitely one that shows a real passion for the project and what it means.

An Aboriginal Girls Group from Chifley College in Mount Druitt took on the task of creating a design that could help re-tell the proud link between the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and the Indigenous community.

The design used traditional symbols and techniques and aimed to include areas such as the Bulldogs’ eight Premierships, changing name from the Berries to the Bulldogs, and the Aboriginal community coming together.

Rusca Bros. recognised not only the great effort that had gone into creating the design, but also the way that history had been represented on the jersey.

*The Rusca Group have more than 40 years experience of successful project delivery in regional areas of the country and have provided tremendous work opportunities for people from an Indigenous background.
