The NRL wrapped up Indigenous Round on Sunday, with millions of fans taking in the spectacle and importance of the Round via television, online or at a match.

NRL CEO Todd Greenberg hailed the success of the Round and thanked the partners, players and fans of the round for ensuring a meaningful connection and acknowledgement of the strength of Indigenous communities within the game.

"Everyone from our broadcast partners in Fox and Nine, through to our clubs and our fans were respectful of the occasion to celebrate and highlight the significant impact that Indigenous communities and players have within rugby league," Mr Greenberg said.

"You only had to watch any of the matches throughout the round to see the passion, determination and commitment by those involved either pre-match during ceremonies, or during the match to see what this round and this occasion means to so many."

This year's Indigenous Round recorded another first in the history of the round, with every NRL Club wearing an Indigenous inspired jersey.  Many players also wore Indigenous inspired boots.

The NRL again partnered with RECOGNISE for the round, supporting the movement to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples in the Australian Constitution and ensure there is no place for racial discrimination.
