What do you like to do away from football?

Away from football I like to spend a lot of time in the water Fishing and Surfing and most importantly with my family.

What was your first job?

My first job was washing dishes for a local restaurant in my hometown.

What are your goals in Rugby League?

My main goals in Rugby league would be to be both the best player and person I could possibly be.

What do you love about Rugby League?

The thing I love most about rugby league is playing a game I have loved since I was a kid and make a living from it.

Who has been the biggest influence on your career?

My biggest influence would be my Parents and grandparents, they have always supported me.

What is your earliest league memory?

My earliest memory in Rugby League is playing under 7’s for Smithtown Tigers, it goes so fast!

What is your best moment in league so far?

My best memory in rugby league was definitely playing in the 2009 Grand Final, you don’t make the big dance often but when you do it is the greatest feeling.

Best piece of advice you have been given?

Talent will only get you so far, hard work and dedication and a bit of luck will take you all the way.

What advice would you give to a young rugby league player?

Never, ever, give up.

Who is the player you looked up to as a kid and why?

The player I most looked up to as a kid was Adrien Morley, he is the most capped England and Great Britain player of all time and he is someone I try to model my game around.

What are your memories of your first NRL game?

My first game was against the Canberra Raiders down in freezing cold Canberra. It was an unbelievable experience to know you have made it and all of the hard work has paid off.

Favourite sportsman and why?

My favourite sportsman is Kelly Slater – He is the ultimate professional, an absolute game changer and has been performing at his peak for his whole career.

What can’t you live without?

I would say air is pretty necessary.

What is the TV show you never miss?

I love the show Suits, bit corny but very entertaining.

What is on your bucket list?

I think I would like to see more of Australia, not just from an airplane and the middle of a football field!

If you could play another sport, what would it be?

Something that pays well. $$

How would you like to be remembered at the end of your career?

I think above all else I would like to be known as a hard worker, a tough player but also as a great bloke off the field.
