Bulldogs Blitz Local Dunedin Schools

Bulldogs stars Chase Stanley and Terry Lamb spent their first day in Dunedin heading around local schools to promote health and well-being messages ahead of the Bulldogs clash against the New Zealand Warriors at Forsyth Barr Stadium on Friday night.

The club ambassadors were treated to warm welcomes right across Dunedin with school welcome songs and also a traditional all women’s Haka.

Chase Stanley, a proud Kiwi’s representative player was only too happy to join the club in a special community ambassador role for the trip to help spread messages to local kids.

“I really love doing stuff like this and giving back to the kids… I remember that day when I was at school and someone came in and had a chat with Kids,”
“It’s really great to see all the smiles on their faces.” Stanley told bulldogs.com.au

Terry Lamb; a long time club ambassador, spoke of the vital importance spreading the NRL and his beloved Bulldogs club into far reaching communities in New Zealand whilst wrapping up the first visit of today’s community blitz.

“What is more important is that we promote our game, It’s a game that made us… we’re promoting the game of Rugby League that’s why we brought it here.” Lamb said on Thursday.

Terry Lamb & Chase Stanley will be back out in the community tomorrow morning when they visit the Otgo Rugby League Junior 9's Tournament at Logan Park.

The Bulldogs will take in the New Zealand Warriors under the roof at Forsyth Barr Stadium this Friday night in the clubs only Out-of-market game for 2017. Click HERE to pre-purchase and save.
