The Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs in partnership with White Ribbon Australia are pleased to announce Aiden Tolman as an official White Ribbon Ambassador.

The Bulldogs formed a partnership with White Ribbon Australia in 2014 and the father of three has been a huge supporter from day one.

“White Ribbon is a male-led organisation leading the fight against violence against women. It's about having the tools to talk to each other and say, 'Enough's enough,” Tolman said.

“It’s about standing up and saying that it’s unacceptable to be violent towards woman and children.

“If we can stop one incident from happening, then we are making a difference.

“We want to use our voices to let as many people as possible know that violence against women is not acceptable,” Tolman said.

The prop forward says the playing group is united in their desire for all mothers, daughters, wives, partners and friends to be able to live a life free from violence and abuse.

“We want to use our voices to let as many people as possible know that violence against women is not acceptable,” Tolman added.

As a White Ribbon Ambassador, Aiden will be the “human face” of White Ribbon Australia, and it is through his leadership and advocacy of the campaign in his communities, that we are all able to work towards changing the attitudes and culture of men’s violence towards women and children.

This news comes as the 16 days of activism wraps up.
