What do you like to do away from football?
Away from football I like to work on cars and go fishing.
What was your first job?
My first job was working at the local chicken shop.
What are your goals in Rugby League?
My goal in rugby league is to play NRL.
What do you love about Rugby League?
The thing I love most about rugby league is the friendships you make and the thrill of running out on to the field in front of fans.
Who has been the biggest influence on your career?
The biggest influence on my career has been my wife, my parents, my brothers and my grandfather. They have all been there to help me get to where I am now.
What is your earliest league memory?
My earliest memory in Rugby League is playing for the Westend Bulldogs.
What is your best moment in league so far?
My best moment in rugby league to date has been winning the Queensland Cup grand final and the state championship in 2015.
Best piece of advice you have been given?
Always compete and never give up.
What advice would you give to a young rugby league player?
Never give up on your dream. Anything is possible when you put your mind to it.
Who is the player you looked up to as a kid and why?
The player I most looked up to was Darren Lockyer. I loved his never give up attitude.
Favourite sportsman and why?
My favourite sportsman is Johnathan Thurston. He a legend and I love that he gives back to the young kids and the fans.
What can’t you live without?
I can’t live without food and my family.
What is the TV show you never miss?
The TV show I can’t miss is Home and Away. I love a drama.
What is on your bucket list?
If you could play another sport, what would it be?
I would love to play rugby union.
If you weren’t playing league, what would you be doing?
If I wasn’t playing league I would be a scaffolder.
How would you like to be remembered at the end of your career?
I would love to be remembered as a hard worker and a respectful person.
