Each year, a number of young rugby league talent look to make the step up from the U/20’s to full-time training and extended NRL squads over the summer in the hope of becoming a first grade player.

In 2017, nine players from the Bulldogs 2016 NYC side will look to take that step.

Following two outstanding seasons in the under 20s, Fullback Josh Bergamin will train with NRL squad over the summer ahead of the 2017 season.

The talented number one first arrived at the Bulldogs in 2014 when he was a member of the club’s SG Ball side before finishing the year in the under 20s.

Bergamin then spent the following two seasons in the under 20s where he has scored 13 tries, broke 139 tackles, delivered 35 try assists and came up with 21 line breaks.
