Kennar, the third Victorian to play for the Storm after making his NRL debut against the Penrith Panthers in round 13, 2015 will move to Belmore after playing nine games in two seasons for Melbourne before a foot injury ended his 2016 season.

The 21-year old hard running outside back has earned representative honours in his short career to date which included an appearance in the 2011 Australian Schoolboys side where he became the first Victorian to achieve the honour.

The signing of Kennar will bolster the clubs outside backs stocks, which include the likes of Brett Morris, Josh Morris, Kerrod Holland, Will Hopoate, Tyrone Phillips and Brenko Lee.

Kennar joined his new teammates at Belmore yesterday to begin preparations for the 2017 season.
