Bulldogs five-eighth Josh Reynolds believes the team can turn things around this weekend against the Panthers following three straight losses heading into the finals.
The Bulldogs finished seventh after the home and away season in 2014 and are in the exact same position this year.
Season 2014 saw the Bulldogs only win two of their final eight games of the regular season, before working their way to the Grand Final against the South Sydney Rabbitohs and if the Bulldogs are to go down the same road as they did two years ago, than it’s all or nothing this weekend.
“It’s do or die this week. Everyone has written us off and it’s happened to us before,” Reynolds said.
“In 2014 we played a terrible game against the Titans and went to Melbourne and done the job on them. No one expected us to win and we got a win over one of the best sides.
“We have definitely got the belief here that we can do that, but it’s in our hands.”

Semi-final football is a whole new ball game and the Bulldogs up and down form heading into week one doesn’t have Reynolds worried at all.
“Finishing seventh for us is not a bad thing for us to play all the games.
“I think we need to get on a bit of a roll and fingers crossed we do get the win this week and get on a bit of a roll.
“Hopefully we can get to Allianz and play some footy and have fun. That’s what the semi-finals are about – big crowds, everyone loves it and we just need to stop worrying about the little things that we’re doing wrong.
“We need to relish the opportunity we have.”
