Our big fellas is definitely one of our strengths. In the past we have lacked that possession and shot ourselves in the foot with the amount of defence we have to do. Key for us is holding the ball so we can maximise the impact of the big guys as much as we can.
on Sam Kasiano coming back into the side…
He’s got a lot of strike power about him. He’s very dangerous and everyone knows it. We have missed him over the last couple of weeks and he’s been massive for us this year. I’m really looking forward to playing alongside him and getting on the back of those offloads. He’s one of the most damaging props in the game, so it can only be a good thing for us – having him back.

It was what it was. It was two clubs that were looking for a win. They (the Rabbitohs) wanted to finish the season on a high and we were playing for a home semi. It’s always a good battle. I was asking him about what he was up to in the pre-season and I heard he is going to become a father, so I was giving him a few tips after only recently becoming a dad myself. What happens on the field stays on the field and that’s how it should be.
