Twin brothers, a returning Rooster, electric Eels and four key Sharks headline NRL.com's Team of the Week for Round 18.
1. Ben Barba (Sharks)
With two first-half tries and a try assist, Barba inspired the Origin-depleted Sharks side to an upset 26-10 win over the Panthers on Sunday.
2. Joseph Manu (Roosters)
Eels winger Bevan French may have been the toast of the NRL recently but young Rooster Manu brought him back down to earth with one of the best try-saving tackles of the season in an excellent all-round performance.
3. Manu Ma'u (Eels)
Ma'u was shifted to centre in a reshuffled Eels backline and the usual back-rower made the most of it with two tries in the Eels' 22-18 win over the Roosters.
4. Shaun Kenny-Dowall (Roosters)
Kenny-Dowall continued his stellar season for the Roosters with more than 200 metres and a try assist.
5. Brett Morris (Bulldogs)
With another try-scoring double Morris now has scored seven tries in three games since returning from injury.
6. Corey Norman (Eels, captain)
Norman set up all four of the Eels' tries against the Roosters and was just about the round's best competition-wide.
7. Chad Townsend (Sharks)
Townsend proved how valued a member he is to the Sharks by steering the ship without usual halves partner James Maloney as his team notched a 13th straight win.
8. Aiden Tolman (Bulldogs)
Tolman smashed out another 80-minute performance with a whopping double century of metres and 41 tackles.
9. Kurt Baptiste (Raiders)
Baptiste took his chances off the bench and made the most of his limited time in the Raiders' 14-point win over the Cowboys with 81 metres from seven runs.
10. Tim Grant (Wests Tigers)
Without skipper Aaron Woods alongside him in the Tigers front row due to Origin, Grant upped his workload with 161 metres and 32 tackles.
11. Boyd Cordner (Roosters)
Cordner returned from a foot injury with plenty of gusto, scoring a try and breaking five tackles.
12. Coen Hess (Cowboys)
Hess scored a try and made 143 metres in a standout performance for the beaten Cowboys in the nation's capital.
13. Chris Heighington (Sharks)
Heighington made the most runs out of anybody in Cronulla's win over Penrith and put plenty of dents in the Panthers' defence as a result.
Interchange
14. Peni Terepo (Eels)
Terepo's first starting berth in over two months saw him run rampant against the Roosters.
15. Josh Morris (Bulldogs)
Morris's dynamite combination with his twin brother continues to do wonders for the Bulldogs, with Josh picking up two more try assists this week.
16. Isaac Yeo (Panthers)
Yeo scored a late try and was one of very few Panthers who caused the Sharks trouble with four tackle breaks to his name.
17. Luke Lewis (Sharks)
Lewis's experience proved invaluable to a Sharks side missing five NSW Origin stars, and he was a key factor in the win over his old team the Panthers.
