Tedesco was a unanimous points decision winner over Penrith's Matt Moylan with two try assists and was duly handed his debut NSW Origin jumper as a result.
2. Marika Koroibete (Storm)
Koroibete was a man on the mission in the Storm's huge 42-point win over the Broncos as his farewell tour of the NRL continues.
3. Jarrod Croker (Raiders)
Overcome a concussion in the first half to score two tries and assist in another in the Raiders' thrilling 29-25 golden point win over the Knights.
4. Ricky Leutele (Sharks)
Leutele took his rare staring berth with both hands in the Sharks' 10-point win over the Eels, recording a brace of tries.
5. Josh Mansour (Panthers)
Mansour scored a miraculous try and made just under 250 metres despite Penrith losing to the Tigers by nine points.
6. Blake Austin (Raiders)
With the Raiders down 22-0 against the Knights, Austin's try just before half-time was the impetus behind their eventual comeback win.
7. Cooper Cronk (c) (Storm)
Cronk's stellar form continued at Suncorp Stadium where he racked up a whopping five try assists.
8. Andrew Fifita (Sharks)
Fifita helped turn the Sharks' 18-point deficit against Parramatta around with a bruising double century of metres and nine tackle breaks.
9. Cameron Smith (Storm)
Steered the ship for the Storm from the middle over many of his Brisbane-based Maroons teammates.
10. Jesse Bromwich (Storm)
206 metres, 32 tackles and a line break – just another day in the office for the Kiwis captain.
11. Bodene Thompson (Warriors)
Stood up in skipper Ryan Hoffman's absence with his runaway try and 46 tackles helping to seal the Warriors' nine-point win over the Titans.
12. Jamie Buhrer (Sea Eagles)
Buhrer's amazing performance in Manly's 30-point win over the Dragons was something to behold, considering his runaway try and five tackle breaks.
13. David Klemmer (Bulldogs)
Klemmer's move to lock continued to pay dividends with a huge 165-metre, 40-tackle effort in the Bulldogs' four-point win over the Roosters.

14. Suliasi Vunivalu (Storm)
Vunivalu continued to chip away at Dally M Rookie of the Year honours after scoring another hat-trick for the Storm.
15. Paul Gallen (Sharks)
Gallen put any conjecture over a potential State of Origin dumping to bed with a barnstorming effort against the Eels.
16. Sione Mata’utia (Knights)
Mata'utia's shift to the forwards paid instant dividends for the Knights as he finished with 142 metres and 29 tackles against the might of Josh Papalii.
17. Kenny Bromwich (Storm)
Bromwich provided a huge punch from the bench for Melbourne, not shirking any responsibility with 152 metres.
