Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs winger Sam Perrett will this Thursday night make his 250th NRL appearance when he takes on his former club, the Sydney Roosters, at Allianz Stadium.
Perrett, 31, first played for the Roosters in Round 15 of season 2004 and went on to play 148 matches at NRL level for the tri-colours. The Burleigh Bears junior then shifted to the Bulldogs mid-way through 2012, where he has played 101 matches in the blue and white.
“To be honest it’s gone so quick,” Perrett said. “I still remember running out to play the Knights that day back in 2004.
“It’s an honour to do it this week against the former club. Both clubs are very special to me and both have given me so much over my career.”
In the lead up to the milestone, bulldogs.com.au spoke exclusively to Perrett about the milestone.
In good news for the club, Greg Eastwood returns to the side in the back row after recovering from a knee injury but centre Josh Morris will be sidelined for a further week due to the groin injury he suffered during the last NSW Origin camp.
