Five-eight Josh Reynolds delivers an honest appraisal about the teams form as they head into round 10 against the Wests Tigers.

With the inconsistency of his team’s performance becoming a concern, Josh Reynolds believes he and his teammates need to make smarter and more strategic decisions on the field in order to win consecutive games.

It’s no secret that the team has been criticised for their performance, suggesting at times that an attitude problem could be the issue, however the local junior is adamant that a bad attitude is not the reason for the slow start to the season.

“I can tell you right now it’s not an attitude thing, we come in here every week and nothing changes, we are here to do a job,” he said.

Josh puts the inconsistency down to just parts of their game needing improvement, however he believes smart decision making will help.

“Myself and Moses’ role is to keep the boys in the game and when we feel we’re switching off, to go back to our safe plays.”

With the world class line up that takes the field each week, it’s a surprise that the team can’t seem to secure back to back wins.

“We’ve got so much talent around the park and I think we sometimes jump the gun too early. We need to know when to shoot the gun, we’ve got strike force all over the park we just need to nail it,” Josh said.

Josh is aware that the inconsistent results are unlike the Bulldogs and is focussed on turning it around. He is hoping that this Sunday’s clash against the Tigers will launch the consistent performance fans are waiting for.

“This week hopefully we can kick-start the wins, we have the same team for three weeks now so hopefully we can find a quick combination and keep it rolling,” Josh said.
