Big wins from Canberra and the Storm are cause for the whole heap of green and purple that headline NRL.com's Round 8 Team of the Week.

1. Lachlan Coote (Cowboys)

Coote wouldn't look out of place in a New South Wales Origin jumper considering recent form. The off-contract Cowboy was Man of the Match in the reigning premiers' 16-point win over Parramatta.

2. Semi Radradra (Eels)

The Fijian flyer made over 200 metres and scored two tries despite the Eels' defeat to the Cowboys.

3. Josh Morris (Bulldogs)

Morris's return to form is timely with the representative season not too far away. The Bulldogs centre made over 200 metres in his side's golden point win over the Titans.

4. Joey Leilua (Raiders)

Leilua's combination with Jordan Rapana has been a constant positive for Raiders fans in 2016. In the green machine's 60-6 win over the Wests Tigers, Leilua scored two tries and set up a further two.

5. Jordan Rapana (Raiders)

If his four-try haul wasn't enough, the Raiders winger set up another try and broke six tackles in his side's huge win.

6. Michael Morgan (Cowboys)

Morgan inched closer to a maiden Kangaroos jumper after scoring two tries and setting up another in the Cowboys' win over the Eels.

7. Ben Hunt (Broncos)

Hunt steered the ship expertly in Brisbane's 22-point win over South Sydney and scored a try of his own.

8. Jesse Bromwich (Storm)

Bromwich played his part in the Storm's 42-0 win over the Warriors with a try, try assist and 142 metres.

9. Josh Hodgson (c) (Raiders)

The Raiders hooker produced three try assists against the Wests Tigers and again proved why he's currently headlining the Dally M medal leaderboard.

10. Andrew Fifita (Sharks)

The Sharks prop continued his barnstorming form with 191 metres, four tackle breaks and three offloads in his side's two-point victory over the Panthers.

11. Eliott Whitehead (Raiders)

Another English Raider with a massive performance, Whitehead made over 200 metres and was rewarded with a try for his efforts.

12. Tohu Harris (Storm)

Harris has been one of the form back-rowers in the competition of late and it was no different against the Warriors on Anzac Day where he scored a try and came up with 228 metres.

13. Paul Gallen (Sharks)

Gallen made 245 metres and 43 tackles against Penrith, his best performance of the season and a strong case to be in Australia's team to take on New Zealand.

Interchange:

14. Cameron Munster (Storm)

Life without Billy Slater isn't so bad when you have someone like Munster smashing his way through the Warriors defence from the back.

15. Jake Trbojevic (Sea Eagles)

Outshone everyone on the paddock in Manly's 16-point win over Newcastle on Anzac Day thanks to his 41 tackles and late try.

16. James Graham (Bulldogs)

Even after 238 metres and 34 tackles, the Bulldogs skipper had the legs (and the lungs) to almost deny Titans speedster Josh Hoffman a long-range try.

17. Cameron Smith (Storm)

The Storm skipper's three try assists played a huge part in Melbourne's undoing of the Warriors.
