Centre Josh Morris spoke with the media during the week to discuss the recent form of the Bulldogs.
After a week on the road, the Bulldogs will return to ANZ Stadium looking to bounce back against the Titans.
It was a mixed bag for the jet setting Bulldogs who came away with a gritty, tough, grinding win against the Storm in Melbourne, but walked away from Wellington with a disappointing performance against the Warriors.
While spending time with your teammates helps build team harmony, getting back home and in your normal routine will benefit the side this week.
“It was good to get home and sleep in our own beds,” said Josh Morris.
“It was good to spend that time away with the boys and something we needed.
“The result didn’t go our way, but we have a tough game this week against the Titans who will be up for a big one.”
For the past four seasons the Bulldogs have found the Titans to be their bogey side after only managing one win from the last five encounters and with the lock forward Greg Bird back from suspension, the inclusion of the Origin star certainly provides much needed spark.
“He makes them a lot better.”
“He is one of those players that when you have in your side, you lift as well.
“He is very inspirational and he leads by his actions.”
The Bulldogs call ANZ Stadium home yet technically have not won a 'home' game this season after losses to the Eels, the Raiders at Belmore and the Warriors in Wellington.
With an afternoon jam packed with footy, Morris is hoping for some free flowing footy on Saturday afternoon.
“We definitely need to turn it around and we need to be winning all our games at home.”
“Hopefully we see some free flowing football and a big crowd.”
