Winger Curtis Rona spoke with the media ahead of the round 8 clash with the Gold Coast Titans.

The Bulldogs will return to ANZ Stadium on Saturday for an afternoon of footy against the Gold Coast Titans.

The Titans in recent time have been a bogey side for the Bulldogs with only one win from the past five encounters, but one man who enjoys playing the south Queensland side, is Curtis Rona.

The speedster has scored four tries, including two doubles and this weekend he’ll be hoping to get his third for the year and who knows, maybe another double against the Titans.

“I guess when I get the opportunity to score, I’ll take it with both hands,” Rona said.

“Hopefully I can get back on the tally board, but ultimately we just need to get the win and that’s what my main focus is.”

After scoring 23 tries in 2015, Rona has only managed to cross the white stripe on two occasions this year and while there maybe competition amongst the outside backs, Rona is pleased for the likes of Sam Perrett and Kerrod Holland, but does believe the ultimate goal in the end, is scoring more points than your opposition.

“It’s good for the team. We need to get as many tries as we can and that’s the ultimate goal.”

The Bulldogs call ANZ Stadium home yet technically have not won a 'home' game this season after losses to the Eels, the Raiders at Belmore and the Warriors in Wellington.

A demanding road trip to Melbourne and Wellington will have been physically taxing on the Bulldogs but expect the side to respond in a big way on Saturday afternoon.

“All the boys are fired up this week and we need a big performance against the Titans.

“All the boys are motivated to get the first home win and get our season back on track.”

Get ready for an afternoon of fireworks when the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs host the Gold Coast Titans at ANZ Stadium.

The Bulldogs and Titans have played out some cracking encounters in recent years and this one has all the makings of another classic game.

Don't miss what's sure to be another epic game of Saturday arvo footy!
