Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Chief Executive Raelene Castle spoke to media following tonight's match about a crowd incident involving a fan who threw a glass bottle in the direction of the field of play.
Belmore Sports Ground security were quick to identify the persons involved and ejected them from the venue.
"We've identified the individual and the fans have helped us identify who that person is and they're speaking to that person," Castle said.
"It's not acceptable. Absolutely not acceptable. We'll be doing all we can to make sure that we communicate with our fans that that behaviour is not acceptable.
The bottle in question is believed to be a glass bottle that was brought into the ground and hidden from stadium security.
"They can't get glass into that place unless you've snuck it in. I can only assume that person has snuck it in. We believe we know who the person is." Castle said.
Raiders coach Ricky Stuart praised the Bulldogs officials and security staff for their professionalism in his post match press conference at Belmore.
"The Bulldogs have dealt with it very professionally and very well," Raiders coach Ricky Stuart said after the match.
"Canterbury is a great club and they jumped on it quickly and we don't want those unruly fans in our game."
