The 2015 #YearOnTwitter results have been released with @NRL_Bulldogs fans taking #proudtobeabulldog, the official Bulldogs hashtag into the top four trending hashtags in Australian Sport for the year.
The annual list, released by Twitter Australia to celebrate the #YearOnTwitter features a heavy rugby league presence at the top with #NRL, the games official hashtag taking out the top spot in 2015 over #AFL (AFL) and #CWC2015 (2015 Cricket World Cup).
The inclusion of #proudtobeabulldog at number four ahead of both #Ashes (Cricket) and also #RWC2015 (Rugby World Cup) came with much surprise to social media commentators around the country.

Following the news this week, Bulldogs players have jumped to social media to thank all of our loyal fans for their dedication and support in 2015 as they prepare for an even bigger year in 2016.
