Bulldogs.com.au chats with Head Coach Des Hasler about the upcoming pre-season and what the focus will be for him over the summer.

After finishing the 2015 regular season in fifth position, the Bulldogs were eventually knocked out of the finals in week two against the Sydney Roosters.

The season came to an end, but the impact of the Bulldogs' 18-17 loss to the Rabbitohs in round five on Good Friday was a significant turning point.

It was a disappointing end to the season for the Bulldogs who 12 months prior were runners-up to the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

“We will pour over a few areas, but it’s about picking up from where we left off,” said Des Hasler.

“The players will be disappointed with the outcome of last year, especially the way we exited the finals.

“The players will want to make amends for that and the summer will be about building towards that and getting ready for the upcoming season with some rule changes and no doubt the interchange moving to eight will be a focus.”
