Ben Matulino returns from suspension and Chad Townsend has been recalled for the Warriors when they face the Bulldogs in round 26 at ANZ Stadium.

Matulino has been sidelined since August 8 after being banned for three games for a shoulder charge on St George Illawarra’s Gareth Widdop in Wellington.

Matulino’s return will see Sebastine Ikahihifo going to the bench.

Meanwhile, Charlie Gubb will miss the Warriors final game after being suspended for two shoulder charges in the clash against the Wests Tigers.

Second rower Raymond Faitala-Mariner returns to the bench in place of Sione Lousi.

Townsend has missed the Warriors’ last two matches but returns for his last game for the club and will partner rookie Mason Lino, who will wear the No 7 jersey in the halves.

The big ommision is Sam Tomkins who may have played his final game for the Warriors after being left out of the side to face the Bulldogs on Sunday.

The England fullback, who will return to the Super League next year, has a knee injury and will be given every chance to take his place in the side but was left out of Tuesday's official team list.
