Lock forward Greg Eastwood has had his Grade 1 – Dangerous Contact upheld this evening by the NRL judiciary and will miss the match against the Brisbane Broncos on Friday night at Suncorp Stadium.
Eastwood travelled to the judiciary in the hope of having the charge dropped but the panel deemed that the decision handed down by the match review committee earlier in the week was correct.
The 28-year-old will miss just the one match and will return in Round 23 against the Gold Coast Titans.
