With a lot of the experience in the Bulldogs forward pack sitting on the sideline, damaging back-rower Tony Williams feels he needs to take more of responsibility over the next few weeks.

Williams has represented both his state and country and is one of the most damaging and destructive ball runners in the game, but now a huge responsibility comes with him to lead the Bulldogs pack into battle on Friday night.

“I have to play a big part with the work that is missing,” Williams said. “I know what I have to do and I need to put my bit into the team.”

He is an experienced player and with the likes of Kasiano, Graham, Klemmer out, as well as Tim Browne still recovering from the concussion he received in round six, times like these are when T Rex is needed most.
