Sam Perrett fronted the media this week and was asked plenty of questions about what this game means to the Bulldogs after the 2014 Grand Final loss to the Rabbitohs.

Going down to the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the 2014 Grand Final, certainly hurts for many of the players, but for Perrett he believes the side only have themselves to blame for the result.

"When I look back at last year, it was really our own mistakes and that's what I am focusing on...it's about us doing our job better and we are coming up a great side...we just have to do the best we can," said Perrett.

The Rabbitohs come into the round 5 clash off a defeat to the Parramatta Eels and after the starting the season in red hot form with the Auckland Nines victory and the World Club Challenge win, Perrett believes they are still the benchmark.

"You always want to make up for a loss and we are expecting that and with the qaulity of squad they have there, it will be very tough," Perrett said.

"They started the season on fire...they have some good moment...it's going to be solid," said Perrett.
