Head Coach Des Hasler fronted the media this morning to give his thoughts on the NRL's idea to change the interchange.
With the NRL looking to change the interchange in 2016 to make the game safer and more exciting, Bulldogs Coach Des Hasler believes a lot needs to be looked at before a change is made.
"A lot of thoght needs to be put into it..there is a lot of discussion about it...there are so many undercurrents with it and I hope they really think it out," said Hasler.
The Bulldogs have one of the biggest forward packs in the competition with many experts believing the drop in the number of interchanges will benefit the smaller players, but disadvantage the big guys.
No doubt the smaller guys will enjoy running around the tired forwards, but with a fit forward pack, the drop in interchanges is something fullback Brett Morris believes will suit the Bulldogs.
"We at the Bulldogs have what we think is a very fit forward pack and a drop in the interchange is something we would enjoy," said Morris
There are so many factors that involve the interchange and for coach Des Hasler it no doubt is an area the NRL are looking at closely.
"There is the impact of injury, concussion, you can lose a player...so there needs to be a lot of though put into it and i'm sure they are," said Hasler.
