Half-back Trent Hodkinson has today started running after off-season surgery to repair his injured knee.

For the first time since the 2014 Grand Final loss, the half-back has started to run after surgery to fix his meniscus in his knee he damaged against the Manly Sea Eagles in the 18-17 semi-final win.

"It's good to be back running after been off my feet for a while, but it's about getting on the Alter G and tick the legs over," said Hodkinson.

The Alter G Anti-Gravity treadmill is a revolutionary medical rehabilitation treadmill with its unique differential air pressure technology that provides accurate, safe and comfortable partial weight-bearing therapy while promoting normal gait patterns and is ideal for all types of athletes including top-level pros, weekend warriors, and university/high school athletes.

Whether rehabilitating or returning from a sports related injury, or simply wishing to train with less stress, you can take your fitness to the next level.

The Alter G is a great way for Hodkisnon to gain confidence in his knee and begin the road to getting back on the field with the boys.

"The knee is feeling good and I am looking to be out on the field next week," said Hodkinson.

Trent has had his fair share of injuries, but the half is confident in the knee making a full recovery.

"I have been through it before. It's about being patient and not rushing back. I am very confident with how it will be and be ready for round 1," said Hodkinson.
