Congratulations to Bulldogs CEO Raelene Castle who today has been made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to sport and business in the New Years Honours.

The award recognises Castle’s achievements during her six years at the helm of Netball New Zealand and also in becoming the first woman appointed as CEO of an NRL club when she joined the Bulldogs last year.

“It is a great honour to be acknowledged in this way and I’d like to thank the Boards, staff and fans of both NNZ and the Bulldogs for their ongoing support.  It is an accolade that I am very happy to share with both the Netball and Rugby League communities,” Castle said.
